I am reading this really good book. You should get it! Anyway, I love learning about leadership, particularly Jesus’ leadership. I mean, really, who can out lead Him? He’s the best. And the part of HIS leadership that compels me the most is his 2nd to last display of leadership—where he washed feet. What a paradox, eh? To be the greatest leader and to do the lowliest thing. Where do you lead? Actually, let me put it this way: Who do you lead? And would you willingly and graciously and sincerely line up your people in a row and wash their feet?
I’ll close with this one-liner from this book, “On that night, the banner of the kingdom was a towel stained with dirt.”
