LeadHership – Lets Get Honest Here

One topic I want a Sunday-front-row seat for is when my pastor talks about significance. As a matter of fact, that’s precisely what he’s talking about this weekend. Can’t wait. frclive.tv

And here’s why: THEE darkest day of my life was July 18, 2000, when I was locked up in a psych ward. The policy dictated that they strip me of everything. Well, except for my socks, they let me keep those. But they took all my personal belongings, they escorted Raul away, they took the clothes off my back. And the atmosphere there? It took my dignity.
It was me, my socks, and a cell. Now where does one go from there?
With Jesus? You go up.

People can take alot of things from us, but nobody can take Jesus from a heart.
That’s God’s home and He protects it fiercely.
As I laid there, on this pathetic communion-wafer of a cot, the enemy called me alot of things, but God was calling me significant, by His promise in Jeremiah 29:11.
And that night, I clutched to this tightly.
To Him, I still had a name, a face, a purpose, a reason to live.
God wasn’t finished with me yet, and He was still preserving my life.

And right now, if you have a pulse in your wrist-He’s still preserving yours.

On the darkest day of your life, with Jesus in your heart, its still a brighter day.
Trust me. From experience, I can attest.

In your leadership, help your people understand this.
Let them see the God-significance in your life so that they will look for it in theirs.
