For years, I’ve collected famous sayings/quotes in a little word doc. Not to long ago, I shared my all-time favorite, see “My Favorite Quote.”
But here’s another:
“I was born at the dead end of a dirt road that had no name and no number. You can go anywhere from nowhere.” –Robert Schuller
To me, the irony of its profoundness is the simplicity of its encouragement.
What it says to me is that no matter where I came from, I can always go somewhere.
My pastor always says that life is a journey. He’s right.
My life, your life….they aren’t periods at the ends of sentences.
They are the dot-dot-dot’s at the ends of sentences…
And no matter where we start,
as long as God’s leading us,
there’s always some place we can go.
