A few years ago, I forged through a “long winter season.”
During that time, my Christian counselor shared this verse with me:
Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerns me.
It didn’t change my winter, but it changed how I looked at my winter.
I highlighted it in my bible, I wrote it down on a piece of paper & carried it with me,
I memorized it. And during tough moments, I whispered it to God as a prayer.
I can’t tell you how much this verse meant to me during that time.
I’m sharing it, because maybe you are in a winter season.
I hope this verse may offer you what it afforded me.
I am super glad you shared this. Thank you.

Those are words that have been a staple for me as well. So grateful that the LORD continues to work on us.

You shared this verse a couple of weeks ago on facebook and it was the first time I had ever read it. I wrote it down immediately and taped it up above my computer – i read it every single day because I NEED TO read it every. single. day.

Precisely what I need to hear and pray as I find myself entering a winter season of my own.
