IMG_7170Today, my friend Laurie and I explored the city of NYC. I loved all the diverse encounters.  I was served tea by a Russian, photographed with a Romanian, cashiered by an African-American and tavern’ed with Asians, a Brit and an Irish. Diversity. We better get used to it. Because the diversity we encounter on Earth won’t go away when we get to Heaven. In the final book of the bible, God gives us a truth about what heaven will be like:  After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb,”  We think South Florida or NYC is a melting pot? It ain’t nothing like Heaven! I used to have a beef with a certain segment of society. But I am thankful that several years ago, God convicted me and gently redirected my heart to love them.  If you have a beef with a certain sect of society, I encourage you to make peace with it, too. Because if you plan on leaving Earth for Heaven, you better believe that God and you and me and all other tribes and nations will be there. And there will be love. Forever. Period.
