toughtimesimagesToday, I came across this axiom–it is probably familiar to you, too. “Tough times don’t last, tough people do.” I thought about it (probably longer than I should have) and I’m not sure I totally buy into it. I know some who have been in endless tough times. Which would challenge the first part of that quote. I also know that tough people don’t always last. I was one of them. I was very “tough,” for a long time. Until a storm blew into my life, rendering me weak and immobilized. Though axioms are great at inspiring me, I’m glad I don’t have to depend on them to define me. I think the best words to define my life are in the Book that has defied ALL efforts to take it out: the timeless, irrefutable, unstoppable Bible. The bible has been in my life for EVERY up and down; trial and treasure; known and unknown. And because it has helped define the best God has in mind for me–I’m sticking with it. I hope you read yours. If you don’t have a bible, email me. Let’s get you the best God has for you!
