I have quite a library of mind-related books. During depression, you don’t feel like doing much with anyone. For me, I knew I wanted to get better and if God could somehow use books to help get me there, I was in!  I want to share the five that had the longest-lasting effect. Now there were books I read because they were “homework” assigned by my counselor, so I obliged. And there were books I read that were specific to the particular depression I was battling. But these five I would recommend to ANYONE for EVERY depression. If you are battling it right now and you don’t have the means to get these, shoot me an email at heather@wondherful.com? Thanks.

1) Praying God’s Word by Beth Moore

2) Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer

3) God is in the Hard Stuff by Bruce Bickel & Stan Jantz

4) The Shack by Wm. Paul Young

5) Lord, I Want to be Whole by Stormie Omartian
