Over the course of my four decades on this third rock from the sun, I’ve had chances to quit. And I have reasons for all of them–as to why I didn’t. But there is one reason I hadn’t thought of until recently: I can’t quit because someone else will. There ARE going to be people who quit on their marriages, their kids, their jobs, their missions. But if all of us quit, at the sIMG_0033ame time, for all the same reasons–the world would stop aspiring; dreamers would stop dreaming, people would stop trying. So what does that mean for you and I? Let the quitters, quit. But we stay. We stand back up again. We get out of bed. We fight back. Someone needs you because someone else quit on them. Be the NON-quitter in someone’s life. Your God, inside your weary heart is a Comeback-King. If he didn’t let death quit on him, He’s not gonna let life quit on you. I hope this encourages someone today.
